Scholarship Application:
All MBA applicants with GMAT scores are considered for
the Rawls Scholarship and enrollment in the prestigious
Rawls Scholars cohort of students. This program is
offered to students with superior academic and
professional credentials. They attend classes selected
specifically for this cohort.
Assistantship
Application:
A limited number of assistantships are available to
those who have already been admitted. You may complete
an application at any time to be considered for an

There is no guarantee that MBA applications completed
after the above dates will be processed in time for
admission. MBA students are expected to attend
orientation that begins approximately two weeks before
regular classes.
Fall admission is open to all students. Spring admission is open only to students pursuing the day-time
program. Summer admission is open only to students in our joint programs (JD, MD, PharmD, ARCH).
Personal interviews are not
required as part of the admission process, unless
requested by the MBA committee. However,
applicants are welcome to visit the campus. Appointments
may be made for applicants to meet graduate faculty
members and current graduate students.
Applicants for the MBA/JD
program must be admitted to the School of Law to qualify
for admission to the Rawls College of Business. YOU ARE
NOT REQUIRED TO TAKE THE GMAT. In order to be admitted
to the MBA part of the MBA/JD Program, you must complete
the following steps:
Apply to the Texas Tech
University Graduate School, pay the application fee
and have Law School send your transcripts to TTU
Graduate School
Complete
the Rawls College of Business
application and submit it with a copy of your
resume.
Once you are admitted to the School of Law, you will
be admitted to the Rawls College of Business if you
follow these steps. Students may earn up to 12 hours
of MBA coursework at Texas Tech University in the
academic year prior to matriculation to the law
school. The first academic year of law school
(fall/spring) consists entirely of law courses.

To be considered for the MD/MBA
(HOM) Joint Degree Program, the Texas Tech University
Medical School first must accept applicants.
