Students enrolled in the undergraduate program in Architecture may wish to enhance their marketability and business knowledge by continuing with a Master of Architecture, and combining that with an MBA. Once a student is admitted into the Master of Architecture program, they can apply to the MBA program.  The GRE will be accepted in lieu of the GMAT exam for the MBA/Master of Architecture students.

There are several reasons you may want to consider the joint program. During this time of a tight job market, you will be much more marketable to your future employer with an MBA. This is especially true if you plan to have managerial responsibilities in the architecture firm you join. Another reason for an MBA is more of an entrepreneurial nature. If you ever plan on beginning your own architectural firm, an MBA will provide you with the necessary business skills to begin and operate your firm. This joint degree will not add more than a year to your existing program.
